How it works

EDD = transfer date + (266 − documented embryo age in days): +263 for day 3, +261 for day 5, +260 for day 6. Gestational age counts from EDD − 280. Fresh and frozen transfer use the same rule for the same documented embryo age.

A reported ultrasound age is converted into dates; scan images and fetal growth are not assessed.
