Who this is for

Adults whose true menstrual periods have resumed after a pregnancy loss and who have discussed any individual restrictions with their care team.

How it works

Apply the regular-cycle estimate to the supplied first resumed true period. No interval is added to the loss date and no recovery or first post-loss ovulation date is predicted.

Keep in mind

• Ovulation may happen before the first period. The date of a miscarriage cannot reliably predict the first returning ovulation.
• Calendar estimates cannot confirm ovulation or pregnancy and must not be used to label any date pregnancy-safe.
• Irregular cycles, hormonal contraception, postpartum changes and perimenopause can make cycle-date predictions unreliable.
